The Cardinals took an early lead in the game with a goal made by freshman Mary Kate McPhee, her fourth of the season. Womens’ soccer turned the loss around with a 1-0 victory over the Sage Gators, which put the Cardinals ahead of the Gators in the Empire 8 standings. The lone goal was made early in the game by junior Kate Rachwal, her second of the season, with an assist by junior Emma Spelman. Goalie Avery Byrnes saved both shots she faced for her fourth clean game of the season.
