Fisher Athletics were constantly on the road these past two weeks, but their home games were ones you did not want to miss.
Fisher Volleyball hosted SUNY Brockport on Sept. 12 for a win of 3-2. McIntosh had 16 kills, with Gutman following closely with 13 of her own kills. Morrow finished the day with 43 assists. On Sept.15, Fisher hosted Rochester Institute of Technology and swept the floor with a 3-0 win.
The mens’ soccer team also contributed with a win of their own against SUNY Geneseo. In the 23rd minute, Joey Avallone scored a goal with an assist from Andrew Vannest, ending the game 1-0. Their winning streak, however, came to an end against the University of Rochester. The Cardinals battled against the Yellowjackets for a loss of 1-2.
To kick off Alumni Weekend, Fisher Field Hockey hosted Sage College. This was the first conference game for the Cardinals, and the first conference win of 3-2. Bringing Alumni Weekend to a close was Fisher Football. Fisher hosted Wilkes University and made a comeback in the fourth quarter to bring home a win of 29-20.
