St. John Fisher College announced Tuesday morning an updated mask policy. Masks are now only required in classrooms, laboratories, the health and wellness center, and campus shuttles for fully vaccinated individuals.
This change means that for those who are fully vaccinated, masks are now optional in all other indoor spaces on campus. Unvaccinated individuals with an approved exemption and those who are not up-to-date with their vaccination are still required to mask in all indoor spaces.
According to an email, “In the last week, cases in Monroe County and campus have continued to decline, community prevalence remains low, and all of our monitoring indicators are trending in a positive direction.”
“The College has a large supply of KN95 masks for those who wish to obtain more. Contact Safety and Security at (585) 385-8025 or on the first floor of Haffey Hall.”
