Since its debut in 2012, the Rochester Fringe Festival has become the largest multi-arts festival in New York State. It is a 12 day event comprised of over 500 visual and performing arts shows in downtown Rochester. The festival has a range of theater, comedy, family entertainment, music, film, dance, opera and more. Here is an event guide for your visit this September 12-23, 2023.

Circolumbia: Corazón
A circus troupe with a performance made up of Latin beats, sky-high stunts and daring moves. The group will perform a show written and produced exclusively for the Rochester Fringe Festival in the Spiegeltent.
September 15 & 16
Cirque Inextremiste
A downtown celebration for FREE with food, drinks, and entertainment by DJ ha-MEEN and The Fanzinis in Ballet Poulet.
September 23
Kids Day
A full day of fun activities and events for the whole family! Enjoy chalk art, pumpkin painting, Disco Kids, Fringe Street Beat and Astrofringe: A Celestial Stargazing Experience
The Spiegelgarden
The backyard vibe of the Fringe Fest. Come here to rest, relax, eat, drink and meet up with friends. The Spiegelgarden is equipped with urban landscaping, outdoor art, lounge furniture, giant games and fire pits.
September 22 & 23, 11 PM
Silent Disco
Enjoy an epic dance party that has no sound until you slip on your headphones! With live DJs and a three-channel system, you can change up the music for whatever mood you’re looking for with just the touch of a button. Student admission is $15 with an ID.
Pedestrian Drive-In
Enjoy an outdoor movie on the big screen with personalized audio via the Silent Disco headphones! Food and drinks will be available at the food truck on site. Seating is on a first come, first served basis.
