Breakfast for Dinner, Anyone?
The phenomenon known as Late Night Breakfast has been around for years at St. John Fisher University and has attracted hundreds of students to the Ward-Haffey Dining Hall. With its deliciously sweet and savory breakfast items, Late Night Breakfast has continued to attract a line of students out the back doors. On top of students getting in for a free buffet, many clubs and organizations have partnered with Fisher Dining to put on this event.

As a student walks through the doors at 9 p.m., they are greeted with a ticket for raffles where they can win a Roku TV, gift cards for their favorite stores, a Nintendo Switch, and other gifts. While food is the main event, there are many activities stationed by the Hikari Wok Station (Hibachi) such as ring toss to promote Best Buddies and a spin-the-wheel sponsored by Athlete-to-Athlete which tests student’s physical mobility along with other quick games like Pat-a-Cake.
Let’s not forget to thank the organizers that put together our beloved Late Night Breakfast. The Resident Hall Association has been working tirelessly the weeks leading up to the Spring 2023 Late Night Breakfast event, and they made sure everything ran smoothly for their students. This semester, the theme was the roaring 20s, while Fall 2022 was Y2K themed. No matter the message they try to promote, the staff at the Ward-Haffey Dining Hall will make sure to put together sweets that represent the theme.
When asked about their time at Late Night Breakfast, a sophomore student at Fisher said “Late Night Breakfast is something I always look forward to, and it’s probably my favorite event of the year. It’s great that they always do it at the end of the semester so you can save meal swipes. The food is always fantastic, the energy is great, and it’s overall a great time!”
If you did not get the chance to go to the Spring 2023 Late Night Breakfast event, don’t fret. There will always be another one waiting for you next semester.
